Whilst producing my magazine I wanted to find a unique name for my music magazine, one that has not been used amongst current magazines in the UK. So I came up with the name 'Boom Beat'. This is a unique name for a music magazine because when the name was typed on google no current music magazine came up on the search. During the production  of the music magazine we had to produce a blog online and evaluate are work. My music magazine uses current music magazines codes and conventions. One of the codes and conventions used by my magazine is the masthead. The masthead is a code and convention used by every magazine in production. It defines the magazine and suggests many things about the magazine. Many inferences can be made on the magazine due to its masthead. 'Boom Beat' also follows the code and convention of magazines which is a target audience. Most magazines have a set target audience which they try to make their magazine appeal to in order to gain the most sales.
